Our Bioidentical Hormone Replacemnt Therapy (BHRT) program is highly individualized and guided by our providers. Signs of hormonal imbalance may include but are not limited to symptoms such as: fatigue, trouble sleeping, irritability, low libido (sex drive), increase in body fat, mood swings, anxiousness, inability to focus, brain fog, hot flashes and more. Our goal at Awaken is for our patients to look and feel good both inside in out.

Bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy is a personalized approach to hormone replacement that allows a patient’s body to absorb the right level of hormones at the right time using pellets as the delivery method. Pellets are small capsules (about the size of a grain of rice) that contain bioidentical hormones like testosterone or estrogen. This delivery method eliminated the need for weekly injections etc. in order to reach optimization.
Some people may feel the effects immediately, while others may take up to two or more pellet insertions before they feel full effects.
Every patient is unique, however pellets are typically reinserted between 2-4 imes per year to help keep hormones optimized and balanced.
Pellets last up to three to six months depending on gender, weight, absorption rates, and the amount of deficiency or surplus of hormones present within the patient at the time of insertion.
